International Chamber Artists (ICA) is pleased to announce its 2017-18 concert series. The events survey a wide range of chamber works, including classic chamber masterpieces, contemporary American composers, a special family concert, and a world premiere commission.

All ICA concerts are free, with a recommended $15 donation to support the non-profit organization and continue brining chamber music to our community.

Enjoy the exciting world premiere of the piano & brass quintet version of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, arranged by composer Joseph Foley and performed by:

  • Oto Carrillo, horn

  • Tom Stark, trombone

  • Sean Whitaker, tuba

We end our season of connections with a grand finale of Gershwin’s famous
Rhapsody in Blue, featuring pianist and Artistic Director Patrick Godon
with the ICA Brass Quintet. Known as the “Heifetz of the trumpet,” Rafael
Méndez was a Mexican virtuoso solo trumpeter who emigrated to the
United States, first settling in Gary, Indiana.
