International Chamber Artists (ICA) is pleased to announce its 2017-18 concert series. The events survey a wide range of chamber works, including classic chamber masterpieces, contemporary American composers, a special family concert, and a world premiere commission.

All ICA concerts are free, with a recommended $15 donation to support the non-profit organization and continue brining chamber music to our community.

2020-21 Concert Series

We are proud to present our 2020-21 concert series. Never has the need for live music felt more essential to our shared humanity! Experience the highest standards of artistic excellence as we return to the stage with wonderful programs from a wide variety of composers. We are proud to have Jim Stephenson on board as our new Composer-in-Residence! Join us to rediscover how amazing live music feels.

Robert Schumann – Six Canonic Études for Piano Trio, Op. 56 (18')

The prodigious Camille Saint-Saëns displays great craft and inspiration across five movements with this brilliant and emotional composition for two strings and piano. Schumann’s Études run the gamut of emotion, from loneliness to romance. A perfect musical experience for our times.

What better way to celebrate the season than with live chamber music! Hear a variety of lively and lovely favorite Christmas songs arranged for piano trio. A sure way to lift your spirits.

Do you hear what I hear? Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, celebrate the season with the International Chamber Artists’ holiday program – Christmas Chestnuts to Cherish. 

 

This livestream concert will feature Yuletide favorites, beloved carols, and Swingin’ Nutcracker selections to make your season bright. Join us on Saturday, December 19 at 7:30 PM, for a livestreamed piano trio concert from The Church of the Holy Spirit. Tune in at www.ICAmusic.org at 7:25 PM.

 

The program features Jocelyn Butler and Patrick Godon along with guest violinist Melissa White performing chamber arrangements of cherished Christmas carols, including "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" and "O Holy Night", plus pop versions of holiday crowd pleasers, capped off by a Swingin’ Nutcracker – arrangements of Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet by ICA’s acclaimed Composer-in-Residence James M. Stephenson.

 

Gather the whole family for a fun-filled evening of holiday cheer – welcoming winter, the arrival of Santa and Frosty the Snowman, and a white Christmas.

A masterpiece of refined expression, Fauré’s Piano Quintet No. 1 offers a perfect sense of balance. ICA is proud to announce its new Composer-in-Residence, James M. Stephenson. His brilliant String Quartet depicts a cycling trip from Oregon to South Carolina, complete with a surprise birthday present for his wife to-be.
