Join the ICA Brass Quintet for a fun outdoor concert at the Lake Bluff, IL Gazebo. Music of the roaring 20's, Porgy & Bess, West Side Story, Harold Arlen, and other favorites! The amazing performers are Sarah Carrillo and Wes Skidgel, trumpets; Oto Carrillo, horn; Chelsea French, trombone; and Sean Whitaker, tuba. Great music awaits!

This marvelous program includes the masterful Brahms Piano Quintet. Hear the mingling of many moods: majesty, serenity, tension, foreboding, anger, and joy. Webern's Langsamer Satz is an early tonal work and is lusciously scored for string quartet.

The program features Azusa Tashiro, Patrick Godon, and guest cellist Melissa Bach performing chamber arrangements of cherished Christmas carols, capped off by Robert Schumann's Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor.

Evocative pictures come to life in this concert in the form of music inspired by art and the outdoors. Opening with music inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe, the ICA musicians will then transport you to Stephenson's sound depictions of Sandy Miller's artwork, dramatically concluding in a new chamber orchestra arrangement of a time-honored exposition from Mussorgsky. Our featured artists are Diane Czerwinski, David Dallison, Fred Jacobs, Susan MacFarlan, Susan Sands, Paul Witt. We invite you to purchase their artwork after the concert!
